This policy explains how Pathrova collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our website, mobile applications and related career services.

1. Who we are

Pathrova provides career-profile, CV, job-application tracking and AI-assisted career tools. For privacy questions or requests, email support@pathrova.com.

2. Information we collect

We may collect account and contact details; profile photographs; career goals; CVs and the employment, education, skills and qualifications they contain; job applications and descriptions; content you submit for AI analysis; subscription and transaction references; support messages; usage information; and technical or security information such as device, browser and sign-in activity.

Payment-card details are entered with Stripe and are not stored by Pathrova.

3. How we use information

• To create and secure your account and keep your profile in sync across devices.
• To provide CV, application, sharing, AI insight and tailored-CV features you request.
• To manage subscriptions, passes, allowances, support and service communications.
• To maintain, troubleshoot, protect and improve Pathrova.
• To meet legal, tax, fraud-prevention and regulatory obligations.

4. Our legal bases

Depending on the activity, we process information because it is needed to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in operating and protecting Pathrova, to comply with a legal obligation, or with your consent where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

5. AI features

When you request an AI feature, relevant profile, CV, application or job-description content is processed to produce the requested output. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before use. We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

6. Who receives information

Discover Jobs asks for your acceptance before a search transfers your target job title, related titles and broad search location to OpenAI. Discover does not send your CV, contact details, employment history, skill list or feedback to OpenAI. Vacancy matching runs within Pathrova. We record the notice version and your acceptance or withdrawal time. You can withdraw search permission on the Discover page to stop future searches; this cannot recall information already transferred. This search permission is separate from requests to use other AI features.

We use carefully selected service providers to operate Pathrova, including Supabase for authentication, database and storage services; OpenAI for requested AI processing; Stripe and Link for Managed Payments, billing, tax and transaction support; Resend for transactional email; and hosting and security providers. Providers may only process information for contracted purposes and must protect it. We may also disclose information when required by law or in connection with a business reorganisation.

We do not sell personal information.

7. International transfers

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections.

8. Retention

We keep account and career information while your account is active and only as long afterwards as reasonably needed for deletion, backup, security, dispute-resolution and legal obligations. Transaction and tax records may be retained for longer where law requires. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.

9. Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections and service-level safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password and protect your sign-in details.

10. Cookies and browser storage

Pathrova uses essential browser storage to keep you signed in, remember whether you selected “Keep me signed in”, apply your appearance preference and preserve temporary interface state during a session. Cloudflare Turnstile may also use security-related storage to distinguish genuine users and prevent abuse. These technologies are necessary to provide features you request or protect the service.

If you open Stripe-hosted payment or billing pages, Stripe may use its own necessary cookies and similar technologies to provide secure checkout, fraud prevention and payment services. At present, Pathrova does not use browser storage for advertising, behavioural profiling or optional analytics. If we introduce non-essential tracking, we will ask for consent before activating it and provide equally clear choices to accept or reject it.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or transfer your personal information, or object to certain processing. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us first at support@pathrova.com so we can help.

12. Children

Pathrova is intended for people aged 18 or over and is not directed to children.

13. Changes

We may update this policy as Pathrova changes. We will publish the revised date here and provide additional notice where appropriate.
